FOUNDER

Graeme Fan created Beaudomus as he wanted to make his contribution towards helping people thrive despite today's demanding lifestyles.

He believes that by creating high quality beautifully designed homes, they give back to its owners a feeling of rejuvenation, reconnection and excitement. Qualities he believes are essential counterpoints to life's frantic pace.

Having already gained a track record for developing high quality homes in Auckland, he has quickly established himself as a thought leader and innovator for optimising sites with quality developments. As well as undertaking his own developments, he offers a development management consultancy service to help others who don't have the experience, network or time to maximise the opportunity.

Graeme undertook his first development in 2006, creating two apartments whilst living in central London, UK. He project-managed the opportunity from acquisition, design, securing planning permission, carrying out the construction and ultimately marketing it for sale. He went further by employing a main contractor and hired himself as a labourer, to learn and immerse himself in the entire construction process.

Following on from his initial success, Graeme wished to gain further exposure in the residential sector. He went on to work for a niche property investment firm that focussed on the high end market. Within a short period of time, he was promoted to Head of Developments, executing schemes on behalf of their investor base. He directed the design and construction teams and managed the developments to successful completion.

As a result, Graeme was personally responsible for delivering more than £15m in construction work in prime central London, delivering properties totalling in value in excess of £50m over a 6 year period. Since then, Graeme returned to New Zealand in 2013 to raise his family. He's a proud father of 2 exceptional young boys.

He has acquired extensive knowledge and practical experience in all facets of the development process from acquisition, planning/consents, interior design, construction, fit out through to marketing.

Graeme is currently studying a Diploma in Interior Architecture at the world renowned Inchbald School of Design. Graeme invests time researching new technologies and methodologies to promote wellbeing in buildings.

Graeme understands the importance of spatial configuration, the importance of light, how a property flows/connects, architectural detailing and features, creating wow and excitement, privacy, functional separation amongst many other things.

Graeme is a proud member of the NZ Green Building Council and a qualified NZGBC Homestar Practitioner.

Here's a selection of Graeme’s clients, customers and investor partners reflections about him:

We recently purchased a property developed by Graeme Fan and wanted to put on record both how much we love the design of the property and also how impressed we’ve been with the post settlement service that Graeme has provided. - GT

We purchased a property that Graeme completed recently and it involved a major rebuild of a character home. The design and quality is such a high standard. The place flows nicely and there is a lovely indoor-outdoor connection. Graeme’s commitment to ensure that we remain satisfied has been illustrated by his staying in touch after the purchase to ensure that we are settled in and remain happy with the place. - SF

We were introduced to Graeme following the acquisition of our property, which required a substantial redesign and development. After briefing him on our requirements, he came up with a solution that perfectly suited our needs. He worked tirelessly to ensure the design and finish was perfect. He is passionate about making clients happy, which is a rare thing in this current day. Being out of the country most of the time, he was 100% trustworthy to be left to get on with the project without much physical contact from us. - MM & LM

Graeme initially became involved in a project that was seriously delayed, over budget and had concerning quality issues. He jumped right in, worked hard to understand the problems and got to work immediately on coming up with solutions to bring the development back on track. He was solely responsible for successfully delivering the development from a very tenuous position. He has since gone on to complete a number of other projects for me. He is trustworthy, dedicated and highly focused on delivering the best solution for his clients. - KP

Graeme was responsible for completing a major redesign and refurbishment of our property. As the building is a listed/graded property, it was important that the historic elements were protected and, where necessary, restored to a near-original standard. Graeme always made himself available to answer our questions, offer advice and to incorporate changes along the way and was, in a word, highly attentive to our requirements. The quality of the finished project was outstanding and my family and I continue to enjoy the property, many years after its completion. Being based overseas, we had to place complete trust in Graeme in delivering the project to our high standards. Though initially apprehensive of giving over a high level of authority to someone else, Graeme quickly established himself as a trusted partner in the project through his knowledge and professionalism. Our confidence in Graeme was amply rewarded as he delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard. - GO & OH

I have known Graeme professionally and personally for a number of years. He has always shown himself to be highly committed, professional, and passionate about what he does. - JH
